First Haircut and more!

I finally got pics off my cell phone, so some of these go back a few months. But the important ones, Toby's first haircut! I loved his curls but the poor child couldn't see, so I scheduled his haircut at one of those kid/baby friendly places, where he sits in a toy car and watches a video (older kids can play video games). Toby's Nana couldn't wait so she tackled his bangs cutting them WAY too short as only a Nana can do... so that's why they look funny. When the haircut lady saw them she said "oh my gosh! that is SHORT!" while laughing. I knew she'd laugh. I told Toby's nana they would laugh. Sigh.

Anyway, Toby was a happy, bored, but happy baby while getting his haircut. Everyone remarked how easy he was, and were impressed that he didn't cry, not one peep! He did giggle because the haircut tickled, and he tried to brush away the clippers when the lady brought those out for the sideburns. Enjoy the pics!

Weekend at Carter's

This weekend we went to my friend Kayla's home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to visit her, her husband Todd and son Carter who is 2 weeks older than Toby and walking/running. Toby took a few steps towards Daddy the first night but after that was crawling the entire time. Now he'll take one step by himself while cruising furniture.

Here are some pictures, we went to the park and zoo. Toby loved the swing so much, he laughed the entire time. And he enjoyed the slide. http://www.dropshots.com/day.php?userid=129302&cdate=20070115 We'll have to find a good park in Baton Rouge to take him to more often, we didn't realize how much he would enjoy it even though he isn't walking. And how much fun we'd have with him.

The picture of him with the toy is the Fisher Price Learning Home which Carter got for Christmas. Toby absolutely loves it, he can play with the door and it has a window he can open and shut, a doorbell, a radio, a flower, a sun/moon for day/night, a clock and calendar and so many things on it that he can play with. This is our advertising push to try to persuade someone to get it for him if they feel inclined!

Today was my birthday! Lots of people came over to give me toys, mummy cried, and they tried to make me eat this cake stuff - GUH ROSS!

In the morning I put on my Reading kit to watch Reading win over Bolton, while sitting in my new chair, go Royals!

The cake however was NASTY. I can't believe people eat that! Yuck! Even though I didn't get it all over my face, I still needed a bath. Which was okay because I got to play with my new bath toy. But the styrofoam cup will always be my favorite bath toy!

Colored blocks from grandma - These things are awesome! Daddy and mummy build things with them so I can knock them over, and then they let me pick up the blocks and put them back in the box, but the best part is taking them OUT of the box!

England will be beating Sweden soon on their way to winning the World Cup! And I intend to fully support them while watching the game with my Daddy. (Of course I will be in my away kit, this is the home kit I got to wear the other day!)

It's Exersaucer time and Bathtime where I take my first bath sitting up the entire time by myself! Mummy couldn't figure out how to separate the videos though so you have to either watch the loooooong video to view both or fast forward to about 1:55 to start seeing me play in the bath! I love this water stuff, now if I can only figure out how to play with it without getting it in my face...
By the way, that outlet on the wall is now covered and the tub isn't so close to it, so hang up the phone since you're already on hold with CPS. Mummy and Daddy are learning one step at a time!

Grandma-ma took the good camera that mummy and daddy were secretly using to take pictures of me to post here, on her visit to go see grandma Sue in England. Yep, the old biddies are running around England together, no doubt talking about how cute I am and when mummy and daddy start making my sibling... and then fighting over which country the 4 of us would live in.

While they're off doing that, I might not have pictures up, unless mummy and daddy remember what they did with their camera, and the cord that connects it to the computer. Mummy has been ill lately and hasn't really had time to keep my fans up to date on the life of The Boss, so she asks forgiveness everybody! She is working at a new job, interviews on Tuesday for a huge promotion (after only a week at the new job!) and I'm keeping her busy in the meantime. There are lots of diapers to fill, food to raspberry all over the place, and kitty cats' ears to grab. I'm a busy man!

Yup, that's me. Six months already! Mummy keeps mumbling about how she's not allowing me to be this old, who knows what the crazy old bird is talking about though. I'm liking this being old thing, chilling out w/my peeps (like the dinosaur there), in my hawaiian shirt, and watching the World Cup stuff with Daddy.

Speaking of World Cup, England phoned me up and asked if I could take over for the goalkeeper after that nasty fall in the friendly, but I had to turn them down because I promised Daddy we'd watch the games together. Maybe next year. After all, my shirt DOES say, Future England Captain, doesn't it?

How to eat supper the baby boss way...

Start out clean, give Mummy the impression that you might actually stay this way. Convince her to put one of those cool bibs on you, the kind that catch EVERYTHING...

Make sure the bib does catch everything, and hey, relax a little, you've got someone to feed you, change you, bathe you and put you to sleep - what could be better?

Now take the bib, and give yourself a good facial, make sure to rub it into your eyebrows, hair and that you get some up your nose - because it's really cool to watch it fly when you sneeze!!!

Pretty Awesome huh? Mummy and Daddy LOVE it when you do this. They leave me like this so the veggies and fruit can moisturize my face, while they go get the camera to show my Grandma Sue.
